Hello from your new Executive Director!

Hi, Erin here. Just finishing up my second week as the new Executive Director of the Historic Downtown Chelan Association. Wow! Jessie has left me such a well-run ship, it’s been an easy transition.

For those of you I have not had an opportunity to meet yet, just a few words on why I am so excited about this new role. Our family moved to Chelan when my boys were 1 and 3 years old. We live 3 blocks from downtown and this amazing business community has been a cornerstone in our life. From our first days, we were regulars at The Vogue – hoping to meet other people and enjoy a good cup of coffee. As my children got older, we’d send them and their friends on scavenger hunts to various businesses while the moms hung out and talked about anything and everything. Fast forward to two teenagers – where our house has become home base for all their friends so they can easily walk to town and hang out. I could not be more excited or invested in a “job” than this new role.

After Winterfest weekends and a trip to the Winter Main Street conference in Olympia, I will be walking around to say “hi” to as many folks as I can!

The Membership and Program Coordinator

Hello, Jennifer Keitzman here.  Originally born in Renton, my family relocated to Olympia when I was very young so I consider myself an original Olympian.

I have 13 years of service with Thurston County local government where I had the opportunity to serve in a few different roles that provided me experience and knowledge in accounting, election administration, human resources and wellness committee administration.  Upon my completion of my Human Resources Management Certification at Pierce College, I went on to accept the role of Human Resources Manager with Taylor Shellfish.  There I developed and implemented employee and management training, programs and events, and also policies and procedures.

I had the opportunity to vacation with my family in Chelan for several years.  I am excited and looking forward to developing and implementing programs and events for this lovely historic town of Chelan.
