Participating First Friday stores will be open until 8 PM with in store specials (see coupons in the Lake Chelan Mirror and Wenatchee World newspapers) and many fun things to see and do - in and outside the stores.
Over 50 quilts will be on display in Historic Downtown Chelan Businesses from November 2nd - 12th:

Fun Happenings During the November 2009 First Friday:
- Bring a non-perishable item for the Chelan Food Bank (or make a cash donation) and receive an HDCA Gift. We'll be in front of Swim World at their fire pit making smores too! First Friday Merchants will also accept your cash or can donations to the Food Bank.
Kids can pick up a Fall Harvest Coloring Book & Crayons also at our table. We always have fun hand stamps also!
- Columbia Furniture will be having wine and cheese tastings.
- The Vogue…a Liquid Lounge, contemporary music from 8-10 pm, all ages welcome, no cover. Experience live music, enjoy a glass of wine and a "slice of community
- Main Street Gallery will host Artists in Action with Chelan Artist, Concie Luna, who will demonstrate 3 dimensional "quilting" with found objects and Manson Artist, Parrie Pleyte, painting in acrylic.
- The Lake Chelan Historical Museum will feature the Three Amigos.
- Look for Best Christmas Pageant Ever sightings as Chelan Valley Players gear up for their performances scheduled for Thanksgiving Weekend.
- The Lake Chelan Snow Mobile Club will bring a snowmobile, information about their club as well as safety information.
- Get information from the Genealogy Society in front of Company 107.
- Chelan Valley Independent School will have information and ticket sales for their Annual Winter Auction Gala, Sat. Dec. 5th
- "Bags and Baggage", A Ladie's Night Out at United Methodist Church from 6-7:30!! Drop in for "chili, coffee and cornbread" (free but donations accepted). Ladies are encouraged to bring a purse or bag and share memories about it and why they can't part with it. Take a humorous or sometimes serious look at why we keep things and how to let go of things we need to let go of. If you have old luggage to donate, it could be used to carry supplies to Guatemala next spring. Bid on silent auction items.--206 N. Emerson Street.
