Aug: Hot Time in Old Town

Celebrate summer by dancing in the street and enjoying other fun activities– we’ll have a hot time with some old fashioned fun!

          Dance in the street starting at 6pm – all ages invited for some old fashioned fun!

·         Free horse rides on a Norwegian Fjord – bring your safety helmets, Kids.  Rides are free but Dr. Bettis will accept donations for his volunteer work in Haiti.

·         Take aim in a Water Soaker contest in Coldwell Banker’s parking lot and visit their Open House to learn about available Lake Chelan property.

·         Join the garden walk dedication at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 7pm.

·         Enjoy root beer floats served by Chelan Senior Center volunteers, devour hamburgers grilled by the Eagles and savor Hank’s Franks at Black Dog Frame Shop.

·         View student art at participating merchants and watch Artists in Action with Tracy Kay Fraker, Seattle artist/gallery owner, as she paints at Main Street Gallery. 

·         Listen to timeless music by The “3” Amigos at the Historical Museum from 5-6pm. 

·         Visit with non-profits including:  Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (along with Chelan Dog’s Jon and Robbie Luke) at Whaley’s General Store; Genealogical Society in front of Company 107; Soroptomists; CVIS shares W.E.C.A.N. information; and Lake Chelan Valley EMS hosts free blood pressure and glucose monitoring in front of Radio Shack.
