HDCA Sponsors Another Successful Winterfest Fire & Ice
Anyone who has attended past Winterfests in Chelan and then experienced the 2010 edition will tell you that we had record crowds and fun this year. Great job Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce and Erin McCardle!
The North Cascades National Bank Ice Bar was a smash hit with the cool tunes of The Kevin Jones Band and Brothers from Different Mothers; the downtown Wine Walk on Saturday sold out in the first hour; and the parade route was lined with thousands of spectators who would later be treated to fireworks over the lake. Thank you to all the volunteers who assisted with Winterfest at all of our venues downtown, Don Morse Park, Manson, and our winery partners!
And a special thanks to our HDCA parade volunteers: The McKellar family & friends (straight from the tropics); and the Harrison & Sandvick families & friends who walked the parade route passing out treats to the huge crowd! We hope that kids of all ages had a great time "REJOICING" in the magic of winter in Historic Downtown Chelan and throughout the beautiful Lake Chelan Valley!
