Enjoy another "historic" fireworks show on Sunday night, July 5th, in downtown Chelan. Bring a chair and watch from the old Woodin Avenue Bridge, which will be closed from 7 - 11 PM that evening. Also, don't forget to buy your 3D Fireworks glasses from downtown stores or that evening (proceeds help pay for the show).

Student Contest Winners:
Students at Morgan Owings Elementary did a wonderful job of making Valentines to decorate our downtown businesses. Although it was difficult to choose, the top five entries shown below (before they were taped to the Swim World window) all received $10 in Historic Downtown Chelan Gift Certificates.

 The 3 winners of our "Favorite Holiday Tradition" writing contest were picked by our hardworking volunteers: Lorraine Adams, Jan Richartz, and Barb Koenig. Actually, all the kids won in this contest, because they practiced their writing skills and many wrote of special times with family. All of the kids had wonderful stories to relate and did a great job decorating their entries.
